Project:
A stunning contemporary home on the water at Redland Bay, that was in desperate need of furniture and furnishing. Our beautiful client works super hard in a male-dominated industry and wanted something serene and feminine to come home to.
Our role:
There was an old sofa, that didn’t fit and no dining table, so we pretty much started from scratch. We wanted to soften the beautiful but hard stone floors, and select a soft colour palette that still let the views of the bay dominate. To make the room feel bigger, we replaced the dated sheer curtains with white linen sheers, mounted on the ceiling. A large area rug anchored the living room and delineated it from the dining area.
Highlights:
How thrilled the client was with the soft beige and blush colour palette! Previously, the space looked like one room, creating defined living and dining areas made it more comfortable and usable, and it looks larger. Adding an upholstered outdoor sofa to the deck has made a huge difference in how much time the client and her adorable pup spend there.
The outcome:
A beautifully furnished space worthy of the home’s architecture, and its coveted Bayside location.
