Project:
Designed by Base Architecture, this outstanding contemporary home boasts striking design features, and striking views. The clients simply wanted a new furnishing scheme for the master bedroom and main living room.
Our role:
To up level the master bedroom by making it more cohesive. The existing room had honey oak floors with seafoam sheers and black wallpaper. We removed the wallpaper and ran the oak up the wall. A hand-knotted wool rug with both warm and cool tones in its pattern pulled the different elements tones in the room together.
The highlights:
The bedroom features a statement bedhead that measures an impressive 3.6m, Kelly Wearstler lamps, an oversized original artwork by Alissa Wright… and more!
The living room received a similar luxe makeover. New furniture included a custom modular sofa, designed to fit perfectly into the snug sunken lounge, handcrafted timber side tables and a bespoke ottoman in a Catherine Martin Bespoke Mink.
The outcome:
